6 Months after Hurricane "SANDY"
Many are aware that our area was heavily affected by the 'super storm' last October along with much of the East Coast. Basic services have been restored and we are open for business. However, basic communication services are not fully restored. Companies responsible for those repairs are now working together in an around-the-clock effort to rebuild the infrastructure.
Locally our WiFi is sporadic - at best. Some telephone service is available, but limited.
We have reached the 6-month milestone of this disaster. Collectively all encourage EVERYBODY to support our efforts in recovery by visiting. You will be welcomed with gratitude.

There is some soul
left in the
East Village… mi

accommodation in an environment that feels like a home
away from home. EVB&C is a B&B without the breakfast because there is just too much good food
in the Big Apple. Mucho inexpensive cafes, restaurants,
and bars in the area. Eclectically themed guestrooms
reflect my character, history, and the unique neighborhood.
This European-style guesthouse with a New York "loft
apartment" feel has shared bathrooms, fully equipped
kitchens, free WiFi, computers with internet access,
and a garden available in season.
